The Pet Dentist at Tampa Bay is seeking a full-time veterinary technician assistant for its dentistry and oral/maxillofacial surgery practice located in Wesley Chapel, FL. The technician assistant responsibilities include assisting veterinary technicians and doctors in patient restraint for IV catheter placement and anesthesia induction, developing digital dental x-rays, assisting with advanced three dimensional imaging ( Cone
Beam CT), prepping dental operatories for procedures, assisting doctors and technicians during procedures and with anesthesia monitoring, organizing and prepping instruments for sterilization and procedures, and kennel maintenance. The client care qualifications include exceptional quality customer service to every client and patient both in person and on the phone, multi-task in a fast paced environment, maintain a high level of organization and communication, answer incoming calls, appropriately schedule appointments and procedures, perform light clerical and records keeping duties, accurately process invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will also have at least 3-5 years of prior veterinary hospital experience, as well as experience with AviMark, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Word.
