We are currently accepting resumes for a certified veterinary technician. This is a full-time position in our specialty practice in dentistry and oral/maxillofacial surgery. Our practice has two locations, but support staff works primarily in one location and is not required to travel between locations. We have three Board Certified Veterinary Dentists and an active residency program with multiple residents in veterinary dentistry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for dentistry, experience with anesthesia monitoring and patient management during the peri-operative period. Proficiency with IV catheter placement, patient restraint, and experience with monitoring/assisting during surgical procedures is beneficial. This candidate may be a licensed or certified veterinary technician (LVT or CVT), but certification is not a requirement for the position. All procedures in the practice are performed under general anesthesia. Technician duties include interfacing with clients by phone and in-person, patient admission, hospital organization, professional teeth cleaning, and assisting with dental and surgical procedures along with patient monitoring.
